An Autumn Safari Proposal In Santorini

Brianna from California got in touch with us to help plan her wedding proposal at her girlfriend, Rachel’s dream destination, Greece! Her requirements? Horseback riding, a beach, a private setting and a meal with a sunset view! She also stated that she didn’t want anything too ordinary!

She openly shared a lot of info about herself and Rachel about how they met, what she loves, her style and personality, to help us create a personalized concept to match all their desires and needs.

We suggested a new proposal spot, off the beaten track, away from crowds, with unique surroundings even for Santorini – a safari looking environment which Brianna agreed suits their style more – and yes with a stunning sunset view!

We began by making arrangements for the horse riding tour. It would be a 2-hour private guided tour through the wine vineyards, heading towards the beach where they would rest for a while and take photos with the horses. From the beach, they would continue galloping onto small trails through a safari-like landscape before being lead to a secluded plateau overlooking the incredible natural scenery and the sea in the far distance.

At the proposal spot, a beautiful table setting would be displayed with exclusive tableware matching Rachael’s style, a gorgeous floral centerpiece with lovely natural autumn tones and of course several cylindrical glass candles on the ground to create a warm, romantic atmosphere.

Brianna opted for a professional photographer, videographer with an aerial drone which was a MUST, to capture the big moment and we can totally see why! The setting became even more romantic when she decided to have a live musician such as a violinist playing their favorite tunes throughout the proposal experience. Dark chocolates – Rachel’s favorite(!), a platter with finger foods and a bottle of sparkling wine were some additions on the decorated dinner table.

Brianna liked the touch of having green and yellow smoke bombs and this was the perfect finale to this epic day for the adventurous couple.

Rachel was in awe by it all! A panoramic view of the sun setting in the background, a warm glow from the candles, soft music played by the violinist and a peaceful scenic location making it ideal for their intimate celebration!
