A Summer Love Nest On Athens Coast

Christo and Maria travelled from beautiful Switzerland for their surprise proposal on the beach along the Athenian coast.

From the very beginning, Christo had his heart set on a Beach Love Nest. A tee pee tent and a warm ambiance were non-negotiable and we totally agree! We did our utmost to bring his vision to life with all of Maria’s favorite colors and flowers.

As all of our proposals and events are fully customized, we purchased fabrics and made cushions in tones of lavender, violet, mauve and greys for the perfect setting. We created a love nest out of bamboo poles and decorated it with string lights. Black industrial lanterns were laid out around the love nest and a last touch – a lavender bouquet with a divine scent– her absolute favorites!

Upon discussing the day’s timeline Christo expressed that Maria would immediately suspect a proposal if she saw the photographers so instead we chose to blindfold her. At least this way – we would build up more suspense and capture the first impression once she unties her blindfold and YES! – She was completely swept off her feet by the gesture, the photographers, the love nest setting, the gorgeous ring and the whole surroundings. What better way to propose?

The couple was overjoyed, Maria couldn’t hide her tears, their smiles were radiant, the setting was the epitome of romance as the sun set behind them on a stunning summer night. Bystanders were in awe as they clapped and smiled.

We loved planning their special event in Greece and we wish them both a life of beautiful surprises and pure happiness. Congratulations C & M!
