A Sailing Cruise Baptism In Athens

On a warm Sunday morning in June, Agapi & Saki travelling from Germany, were baptizing their youngest son, Alexios in the southern area of Athens.

The couple has contacted us to design and plan the whole baptism from A-Z including all the fine details. The entire process was so much fun as we love getting to know our clients, creating customized events that reflect their personalities and making their event as unique as possible for them and their guests. That is exactly what we aimed for with Agapi and Sakis.

They were very articulate with what they envisioned from the very first moment we spoke. Having been away from Greece for so long, they were fixated on the ocean and underwater theme with numerous sea elements, a touch of boho but something modern and clean. The color scheme was RAF blue, grey and white in combination with natural hues.

The invitations & stationery, bonbonnieres, flower décor, refreshment & candy bar were all designed to suit the chic ocean theme with watercolor graphics, boho styled centrepieces, carefully decorated home fragrance bottles as bonbonnieres, and beautifully customized desserts and juice bottles to harmoniously tie the whole setting together.

The ceremony took place in Agios Georgios in Kavouri, followed by a unique reception on a boat cruising along the Athenian Riviera later in the afternoon. Everyone danced, drank some sparkly, enjoyed a BBQ on board experience and had an amazing time. Everyone was in awe with the whole concept and we could not be happier.
