A Glowing Proposal on Santorini Island

Matthew inquired for his upcoming wedding proposal in Santorini the following week, during their holiday on the beautiful island. Coming from London, Matt didn’t request for much, just a lovely dinner with amazing views and a definite sunset where he could enjoy the evening with his love, Cynthia. The rest were simply details.

Once place popped into our minds when Matt mentioned the sunset and that was the brand-new luxurious Epitome Oia, the new addition to the Canaves family, which guaranteed 100% sunset straight across the horizon. A beautiful private terrace nested on the rooftop of this hotel which simply takes your breath away!

Matt expressed Cynthia’s color palette, style for us to create the perfect setting. We strive to bring out our couple’s unique personality and style In their event, after all! We couldn’t hide that her color palette was once of our favorite too, luscious rose pink and light blue. So dreamy and romantic! We arranged exactly that and added a few classy touches for tableware, candles and dinner menus to complete the whole art de la table. Surrounded by the table were cylindrical jar lit candles which glowed around them. It created the ultimate romantic atmosphere for this perfect evening.

Cynthia couldn’t hold her happy tears as she followed Matt up the black lava steps leading her to the big surprise. She guessed what was coming next! She was mesmerized by everything…

Matt proposed to her and together they were photographed in the glowing golden light as Cynthia was still trying to pinch herself that it’s not a dream.
It was romantic, genuine, sweet and very, very special…and then the fountain fireworks went off and just made the moment even more spectacular and dreamy! The perfect ending before they could start eating their lovely dinner under the stars…

We enjoyed every minute of communication whilst planning this special surprise in Santorini. It was wonderful meeting both Matt and Cynthia and we hope to plan their wedding in Greece too – why not?!
