A Beach Picnic Proposal in Chania

Andrew from Canada made an enquiry about proposing to the woman of his life – Caitlin during their vacation in Greece. Before heading off to Santorini and other Greek islands, he had his heart set to ask the big question during his stay in beautiful Crete.

He visualized a romantic picnic on the beach during sunset and a décor set up which would reflect Caitlin’s personality.

We absolutely adore beach picnics as they create a romantic, laid back and authentic feeling!

We got to know more about Andrew and Caitlin through a questionnaire he filled in and once we got a full picture of their personality and style, we suggested ideas for their dream proposal in Greece!

As far as the décor goes, white roses, navy blue, and gold accents were a must! He also envisioned a live violinist playing their favorite tunes.
He loved the proposed mood board for their special day. The two would walk into a circular design set up surrounded by 320 tall white roses and this is the spot where he would fall to one knee. Each single rose stem would be buried in the sand – giving the setting a very stylish, modern and sophisticated look which is exactly what Caitlin would love.

Beside the white rose setting, we would create a picnic display for them to celebrate with some Moet and mini cheesecakes, whilst sitting among wonderful white and blue floral arrangements, navy blue cushions, gold trendy details and modern cylindrical candles crating the perfect mood.

Of course, a special event like this cannot be complete without a professional photographer to shoot the moment!

The sun set on the beautiful beach and the scenery looked magical as the soft lighting glowed around them.

We were so pleased to see Andrew and Caitlin so happy. It was great fun planning their special event. We wish them a life full of sweet memories and amazing adventures!
