#1 Pyrgos Petreza

History

Combining architecture, inspired by the impressive country mansions and Byzantine monasteries that once existed in the area, and breathtaking natural beauty, Pyrgos Petreza is the meeting point of tradition and style, past and present, old and new. Giorgos Belbas, the creator of Pyrgos Petreza, collected old materials from torn-down houses and ruins in the area of Spata, pieces of memory and architectural value, which he used to build this unique edifice. The estate also functions as a winery, featuring high standard wine making facilities.

The Spaces

There are six rooms, 800m2 in total, ideal for any kind of event, as well as a gracious 400m2 balcony and an impressive garden of 1.800m²; it is also home to beautiful plants and herbs that are characteristic of the Mediterranean. Can you think of a better backdrop for your wedding photoshoot? The indoor space can comfortably host 400 people while the garden up to 1100 guests if you envision a larger and more glamorous event!

#2 Hatzi Mansion

History

Getting married at Hatzi Mansion will turn your wedding day into an exceptional aesthetic experience! Traditional and rare materials, symbolic reliefs and murals, walls made of warm wood-stone, and floors made of marble from ancient quarries, Hatzi Mansion exudes aristocratic finesse and reminds us of another era. The Hatzi Family, a historic family originating from Smyrna (in modern day Turkey), wanted to create a neo-Byzantine mansion modeled after the large villas of Tuscany that would serve as a cultural center to host art lovers and people engaged in intellectual and spiritual quests. Today it is also a winery producing high-quality wines with distinctive character and refined flavor.

The Spaces

Apart from the main mansion, and the pool area which can host up to 600 guests seating and 1200 standing, there are two 18th-century ballrooms, which feel true to the time period and will give your wedding a unique sense of history! Blooming gardens, majestic vineyards, and amphitheatrical views of the Saronic Gulf provide the ideal setting to exchange your vows!

#3 Melissourgos Castle

History

Located in the area of Lagonissi, Melissourgos Castle dates back to the 17th Century and is one of the oldest and probably most historic private residences in Greece that is still preserved in such excellent condition. The 350-year-old castle was constructed by the Ottomans as a reprisal during the Orlofikon uprising in 1770. In 1836, following the end of the Ottoman occupation, the castle came into the possession of the Melissourgos Family, who played a significant role in Greek history. Within 15 acres of private land, there is a complex of buildings, including stables, workers’ houses, water wells, and the old olive press offering a unique example of the oil production at the beginning of the last century.

The Spaces

A gorgeous swimming pool is ideal for a summer wedding party and there are numerous facilities including tennis, basketball and beach volley courts, as well as a playground for younger guests! If you love tradition, there is even a small, old yet charming church on the premises which can host your dream wedding in Greece!

#4 The Margi Farm

History

Love a touch of rustic elegance or inspired by nature? The Margi Farm, located in Kalyvia, is the ideal place to give your wedding a country-chic ambiance! Surrounded by vineyards, lavender bushes, and olive trees, the 20-acre farm allows for the cultivation of almost every kind of Greek nature’s fruits and vegetables. At first, the idea was born to cover its sister hotel’s need for fresh ingredients, but now it is a “model” farm, highlighting the rich vegetation of the area. Colors, scents, and flavors combine to deliver a multisensory experience that you and your guests will remember forever!

The Spaces

Elegant aesthetics blend harmoniously with nature, creating enchanting scenery for your most beautiful moments! Your guests will surely be dazzled by the unique decor and, of course, the farm to fork dining experience which is the venue’s unique highlight. Up to 500 guests can be accommodated who will enjoy nature in all its glory. Who said luxury and style can’t be combined with Mediterranean tradition and organic sensations!?
