An Elegant Bohemian 50th Birthday Celebration in Athens

​When Stacy reached out to us from Canada about celebrating her 50th birthday in Greece, she knew she wanted something special but wasn’t quite sure where to begin. With limited time, she was considering both a restaurant and a private venue.

After discovering our work, Stacy instantly fell in love with the boho celebrations we had previously created. She loved the relaxed yet elegant aesthetic and wanted to bring that same feeling into her own birthday celebration.

After discussing her ideas and the experience she wanted for her 30 guests, we felt a private venue was the perfect choice. We suggested a spacious rooftop with breathtaking Acropolis views, an unforgettable setting for an intimate milestone celebration.

The evening was planned around cocktails, dinner and dancing. We created separate areas for the cocktail lounge and dinner, with a beautifully styled backdrop in between for the birthday cake and group photographs.

With only one week to bring everything together, we quickly moved into design and planning. A mood board was created and every detail was carefully coordinated, from the floral design and elegant furniture to the tableware, customised menu and birthday cake.

Music was also an important part of the celebration, so we arranged a professional DJ and curated the playlist to take guests from cocktails and dinner into a lively evening of dancing. A photographer was also there to capture all the special moments.

Then came an extra special surprise. Stacy’s brother travelled all the way from Canada to join her celebration, making her 50th birthday even more meaningful.

As the evening unfolded, the rooftop filled with laughter, music and happy conversations. Guests enjoyed cocktails, dinner, plenty of photographs and, of course, lots of dancing under the Athenian sky.

The atmosphere was intimate and cosy, exactly as Stacy had envisioned, with the Acropolis creating a spectacular backdrop throughout the evening. The celebration continued for hours and was filled with memorable moments.

For us, the best part was hearing Stacy say ‘’it was everything I wanted and more, in only a week!’’. Seeing her vision come together in such a short timeframe’’ made the celebration even more rewarding.

It was a beautiful 50th birthday filled with love, laughter and unforgettable memories. We wish Stacy many more years of happiness and celebrations, and hope she continues to spread the same joy she shared with everyone on her special day.
