A Sunrise Proposal In Athens Coast

Matthew from the UK was in a long distance relationship of 5 years with Corina from Germany. The time felt right to take the next big step into their relationship; it was time to put a ring on it!

He enquired about planning a special birthday this year for his love. He envisioned something unique and unexpected, so we figured, what more unexpected than waking up at 6am and going on an adventurous ‘’birthday field trip’’ but instead surprising her with a wedding proposal at sunrise?

Matthew was all in on this epic idea and with great enthusiasm we jumped right into the designing and planning of this wonderful surprise.

He was inclined towards a picnic and a live violinist playing Corinna’s favorite songs. It would be the sweetest morning ever, with a nicely displayed continental breakfast waiting for them at the picnic spot, topped with a customized birthday cake with her favorite flavor and a bottle of bubbly to celebrate.

With detail, Matthew expressed Corinna’s likes, hobbies, style, her favorite colors and flowers and so we began searching for ideal textiles, and breakfast selections for the couple to celebrate bright and early.

We planned to set up the picnic at a luxurious villa located on the Athenian coast with a magnificent sunrise view. You could almost feel the waves hitting you! It was the ideal spot for a double celebration.

A morning proposal could not take place without the latest craze of colored smoke bombs that are becoming ever so popular at photo shoots and special events. A mix of green and pink was Matthew’s preference. The couple headed down to the sea for these photo shots. The colorful, smoky atmosphere created a truly incredible effect as though the smoke was wrapped around them. It looked absolutely beautiful!

This was without a doubt, a birthday to remember. Corinna was completely dazzled by the surprise. The couple spent the day at the villa enjoying time together in the jacuzzi, nibbling their luscious breakfast and lemon – raspberry cake whilst sipping on some French champagne. This is what dreams are made of!
