A Destination Boho Baptism In Southern Athens

We were so excited to be working with Gabriella from the USA for her six-month daughter’s destination baptism, Rhea – Christine. She reached out to us to handle the entire event for her at an intimate venue along the Athenian Riviera. This event would be extra special as not only would it be a baptism but it would also be a 20-year reunion for many of the guests!

The theme was classy boho with a bold and vibrant color palette – mostly fuchsia with a touch of electric blue and gold details. We created a really elegant mood board with luxury tableware, glassware and flatware with vivid blue hand painted charger plates and fuchsia napkins. We designed modern floral décor in lively hues and an eye-catching candy bar decorated of chrome textured balloons to match the theme, macramé décor details and tall white blocks filled with delightful desserts, placed in gold jewellery boxes. The bonbonnieres consisted of alternating fuchsia and orange flower design soaps with unique scents, tied with alternating bright colored ribbons and a custom cut little pendant. These beautiful boxes were displayed at each guest’ place setting.

We love to make handmade creations in all our events, so for this event we made DIY macramé designs for the lambada, as well as the final touches for the church accessories. And as firm believers that details make all the difference, we created a few custom designed Plexiglas signs in gold with the name Rhea-Christine which was placed in the décor and bonbonnieres.

Gabriella and all the guests were absolutely dazed with all the set up once they arrived at the church and reception venue. They were ecstatic and everyone had an amazing time on this beautiful summer evening!

It was a wonderful experience for us to be a part of gorgeous little Rhea – Christine’s special day. May every day of her life be as bright as her baptism!
