DANCING ON THE MOON: AN ULTRA-LUXURY SUMMER PARTY IN CORFU

Following an extraordinary two-day celebration in Corfu the previous summer, Brittany returned with a new vision for another summer party, this time inspired by the concept of Dancing on the Moon. The idea was to create something entirely different from the previous year’s celebration, transforming the private home into an intergalactic world where immersive design, bespoke installations, and exceptional entertainment would come together to create a memorable experience.

The concept began with a detailed moodboard, bringing together the colour palette, textures, materials, structures, lighting, and decorative elements that would define the evening. Brittany had a clear vision for the atmosphere she wanted to create, and every area of the space was considered as part of the wider design. Guests were welcomed through an illuminated mirrored porthole archway, setting the tone from the moment they arrived, while custom neon signs, disco balls, oversized mirrored balloons, and sculptural balloon installations introduced celestial details throughout the venue. A life-size astronaut stood at the photo backdrop, offering guests an opportunity to capture a moment within the intergalactic setting.

At the heart of the design was a giant moon suspended above the dancefloor, extending over the swimming pool and creating a striking focal point for the evening. This also allowed us to rethink the layout entirely for this year’s party, building the experience around the pool installation. Beyond the dancefloor, the same attention to detail carried through to the lounge areas, bar, and buffet, each styled to complement the overall concept while retaining its own character. A cosy fire-pit lounge offered a more intimate setting away from the energy of the dancefloor, giving guests a ‘’safe space’’ to gather, unwind, and enjoy a quieter side of the celebration.

With just five days to bring the concept to life, the villa gradually transformed into a celestial setting, with every element contributing to a cohesive visual experience. The DJ booth was incorporated into the design, while carefully considered lighting and sound helped establish the atmosphere as day turned to night. Entertainment played an equally important role, with a renowned guest DJ joining the line-up and exceptional dancers bringing movement and theatricality to the celebration. The music, performances, and surrounding installations came together naturally, creating an atmosphere that kept guests on the dancefloor throughout the night.

Despite the scale of the production, the evening unfolded seamlessly, allowing Brittany and her guests to enjoy every aspect of the celebration. From the illuminated entrance to the moon suspended above the pool, each space offered a different perspective on the concept, while the music and performances brought the entire setting to life.

Having collaborated with Brittany the previous year, it was particularly meaningful to create another celebration that felt entirely different while exceeding her expectations. Reflecting on the experience, she shared:
