A Beautiful Star Baptism in Athens

On a starry summer night in the picturesque suburb of Aghia Filothei in northern Athens, the beautiful star of the evening – Baby Nagia – was baptized.

Elegantly decorated with sparkling Swarovski crystals and star mirrors, Balthazar Restaurant in Athens had an especially majestic atmosphere that evening. The twinkling glow upon arrival at the main entrance of Baby Nagia’s reception awed the guests, while the illuminated candy bar decorated with delicious desserts and sweets caught everyone’s eye. The evening’s color palette included shades of baby pink, while white and grey were used as a complementary colors throughout the décor.

All of the centerpieces, as well as the traditional bonbonnieres, martirika and lambada, were all handmade using star-shaped spinning tops, wands, crystals and mirrors. Wherever fabric was called for, we used only the finest linen; star-shaped cushioned bonbonnieres with Swarovski crystals were added to perfectly suit the theme of this exquisite Athens baptism reception.

Waving her magic wand, Baby Nagia was definitely the fairy-tale star of the evening and her baptism in Greece was tasteful and perfectly age appropriate for all of her guests.
