An Intimate Dinner Party on Syros Island

We had the pleasure of planning an intimate dinner party at a private villa on the Cycladic island of Syros. Overlooking the small fishing port of Finikas, the dinner venue was a neoclassical villa with traditional Syros architectural design. The private villa was surrounded by nature and had stunning views of the Aegean Sea – it was the perfect location to host the honored guests.

Wanting to keep the feel of this Greek island dinner party authentic, we chose a traditional blue and white theme; all of the hand-painted tableware was carefully chosen and brilliantly complimented by the blue sea and sky. The flowers were of vivid sunset colors, sitting atop a burgundy red tablecloth that reflected the red earth of the natural surroundings. For the place settings, each plate had a gold trim to match the amber colored glasses and the napkins were a royal blue. For the finishing touches, candles were carefully placed in order to create a magical atmosphere. This intimate affair left guests in awe and with many incredible memories of their Syros dinner party experience under the starry night sky.
